Georgia Birch is a licensed massage therapist and certified exercise physiologist. An eight-year veteran in the healthcare field, Georgia’s love of people and helping to change lives is evident in her caring and upbeat demeanor. Kind and patient, Georgia excels at listening to and assessing her clients in order to create a customized treatment. She is able to zero in on the causes of muscular tension and pain, and she uses deep tissue, myofascial and orthopedic massage to release restrictions, reduce discomfort and promote balance.
As an exercise physiologist, Georgia understands how posture and movement affect musculoskeletal pain. Taking into account her client’s tension patterns, she can assess and make recommendations for exercises and stretches to promote healthier movement in everyday life.
Georgia has always believed in the healing power of touch. She received professional massages when she was younger to help regulate her nervous system, and experienced first hand how touch can instantly relax muscles and calm the spirit. After years of supporting nursing home residents as a nursing assistant and exercise physiologist, Georgia felt it was finally time to expand her clinical knowledge into the field of touch therapy. She graduated from the Chester County Wellness Institute as a massage therapist in July 2024.
Georgia may be a recent massage graduate, but her hands have the feel of someone with years of experience. She works with clients of all ages and finds it especially rewarding when she helps people find relief from pain. Georgia lives in West Chester and enjoys hiking, camping and traveling with her boyfriend.
