Marquita Green, LMT, is a licensed massage therapist and Reiki practitioner. Nurturing and dedicated, Marquita creates customized treatments for her clients and loves to help them find relief from chronic pain and tension, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve healing.

Marquita is highly intuitive and skilled in “listening” with her hands to the subtle signals in the body that are contributing to stress and dysfunction. She blends Swedish massage, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy in her tailored massage sessions. In her Reiki sessions, she gently helps to promote emotional balance, pain relief, and deep relaxation by tapping into your body’s natural ability to heal.

Marquita knew that she wanted to become a massage therapist for a long time, but her dream was derailed when she started suffering from Lyme’s disease and fibromyalgia in 2011. As she struggled for years to find relief, her pursuit of alternative therapies like natural medicine, massage, and Reiki opened up a new world of healing. When her body began to heal, she recommitted herself to helping others with a completely new perception. Knowing first-hand the struggle and hopelessness of chronic pain gives her a special understanding of what her own clients are feeling. Today, Marquita is a proud and passionate licensed massage therapist and Reiki healer. She currently lives in Philadelphia and loves spending time in nature, playing with her two grandsons, and painting.
